Amy McEuen, PhD
Ecologist, conservationist, science advocate. I am interested in novel approaches for conserving the earth’s incredible biodiversity. Trained as a forest ecologist at University of Michigan, I now teach ecology and conservation biology at University of Illinois Springfield. Some of my work involves studying tallgrass prairie restoration at The Nature Conservancy’s Emiquon Preserve in Central Illinois. However, I am also very interested in conservation philosophy and addressing racism and sexism in our field.
